Thanks to the publisher for the ARC I got in a goodreads giveaway。I enjoy stories of polar exploration which, let's face it, are disaster stories more often than not。 However, I guess they can't all be Shackletons。 Right out of the gate, Piesing quotes a YA fantasy novel (admittedly, a very popular one) to describe Svalbard。 This does not bode well。tbc。。。 Thanks to the publisher for the ARC I got in a goodreads giveaway。I enjoy stories of polar exploration which, let's face it, are disaster stories more often than not。 However, I guess they can't all be Shackletons。 Right out of the gate, Piesing quotes a YA fantasy novel (admittedly, a very popular one) to describe Svalbard。 This does not bode well。tbc。。。 。。。more
